Pearle Knits was born in New York from the heart of designer Michaela Pearle from Vancouver, Canada. Her work explores the traditional notions behind women and crafts, and plays into the nostalgia of handmade clothing. Michaela now resides on a small island outside Vancouver called Bowen Island, where every piece is carefully handcrafted on a knitting machine in her home studio from cotton yarn sourced from a mill in Quebec, Canada.
