A personal favourite- lots of delicious Italian treats with a little local market attached to it if you're looking for groceries! One stop shop. Make sure to pick up a bag of locally roasted beans to take home with you.

A great fully vegan cafe with amazing baked goods (go early as they sell out fast) and serving local Have Fun espresso.

Ferry to Dartmouth- Cafe Goodluck for coffee/baked goods, The Canteen for lunch or dinner for some wholesome NS fare (crobster roll!), Evan's Seafood on the waterfront for some fish & chips, Dear Friend for a cocktail/mocktail/oysters, Larry's for a mean sandwich, Morley's for a cortado and great record browsing. Doraku in Dartmouth is my favourite sushi spot in the city. They also have a little sister location that's great for a quick lunch in downtown Halifax off Spring Garden called Ko-Doraku.
