Dagged Skirt, Timur Goldwork

 The Dagged skirt is a true wearable piece of art, featuring a playful golden wild cat embroidered on undyed woven silk. Fits mid to high rise, with an invisible side zipper and keyhole cutouts both in the front and side. The Dagged Skirt was brocaded by master embroiderer Mirshod Farmanov in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. This traditional Bukhara method of embroidery arranges gold metal threads in parallel rows, then couches them with silk thread.

Made slowly by 100% Silk, who works closely with all artisans to ensure ethical and mutually beneficial production methods.

Please expect the fabric of this skirt to have a natural patina due to the undyed and raw quality of the woven silk. Traces of this garment's journey, such as small marks and inconsistencies in the fabric are intentional to the finished product.
